Cities around the world are facing a common problem – lack of housing. An exhibition Together! The New Architecture of the Collective, looks at collective building and living solutions that have popped up across Asia, Europe and the United States in response to this problem.

Together! The New Architecture of the Collective is on until 1 July 2018 at the Centre d’Innovation et de Design in Belgium. Using models, films and walk-in displays, the exhibition engages with historical precedents for the current wave of collective living arrangements, which demonstrates how the idea of collectivity has been a recurring theme in architecture for centuries.
