An exhibition looking at nightclubs as sites of experimentation for interior design, new media and alternative lifestyles is on now at the Vitra Design Museum.

Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960 – Today showcases how nightclubs have evolved over the last 55 years. Famous clubs Manchester’s Hacienda and the iconic Studio 54 in New York will be featured, as well as smaller projects like Assemble UK’s stage design for HORST Arts & Music Festival in 2017. The exhibition is laid out in chronological order, and will include furniture, architectural models, art, film, photography and fashion.
