‘What if the future isn’t what you expect?’ That’s the question being asked at Melbourne Knowledge Week 2019, from 20 – 26 May.
This year’s program is full of thought-provoking talks and experiences that aim to make us think about how we want the future to be. Saturday 25 May will be an outstanding day of talks, walks and presentations about our city and how it’s changing. Themed ‘Living Closer Together, the day comprises a panel hosted by us at Assemble Papers, looking at the future of the built environment, and how our approach to design, construction and ownership will change to meet new social needs and expectations. If you’re interested in small footprint living, our parent company Assemble will be hosting a walking tour of 122 Roseneath Street, our first residential project in Clifton Hill. Other events that day include the launch of the Office of the Victorian Government Architect’s self-guided walking map of North Melbourne, and a panel discussing high-density residential design, and wellness and community can be considered.
The Hub is at the Meat Market in North Melbourne. You can find the full program here.
