Fashioned From Nature is on now at the V&A Museum, exploring the relationship between fashion and the natural world.
The exhibition looks at the garments and accessories that have been inspired by nature, as well as the disastrous impact of garment manufacturing on the environment. One section explores our fascination with exotic species of birds and reptiles, as well as our use of feathers and other animal parts such as whale bones. These will be showed alongside garments made from the 17th century until the present day, including a dress worn by Emma Watson at the Met Gala 2016, made from entirely sustainable materials.
