The December calendar takes MPavilion into its third month and again touches on a fantastically diverse range of topics, so these are just a few of our selections! Saturday 15 December, 10am – 2:00pm
Imagine how many side project ideas are out there floating around in people’s heads? This event will help you put your ideas into practice because in our busy lives it’s often our personal creative work that falls to the bottom of the to-do list. This event is for anyone who feels stuck or doesn’t know where to start with their creative project. See the website for full details.
Monday 17 December, 6.15 – 7.15pm
A panel of experts from both cities will talk about why these cities are considered so livable, and compare the two distinct planning systems.
Wednesday 19 December, 6.15 – 7.15pm
Join Rory Hyde, co-curator of The Future Starts Here exhibition at the V&A in London. Rory discusses the background to the major exhibition, which brings together 100 objects ranging from smart appliances and satellites to artificial intelligence and internet culture.
Friday 21 December, 6.00 – 10.00pm
This performance looks fantastic! It will explore different ideas of place and home; our place in a rapidly shrinking world where cultures shift and change at an increased speed and intensity.
