With expansion plans in the pipeline, Assemble Papers is looking for a part-time Communications Designer to join our team.

This is a stellar opportunity to join the Assemble team and contribute towards the professional, commercial and cultural success of the firm and the positive change it seeks to make in the world, as we go deeper into building the culture of living closer together.

This is a part-time (.6) position with ample potential for growth. As the Communications Designer, you will shape the face and voice of the publication across print and digital channels. You will be responsible for supervising the visual identity of Assemble Papers in all digital and print matters, as well as working on the day-to-day production of digital and print content.

Together with the Editor, the Communications Designer will work on the following workstreams:

  • art direction and editorial design
  • print production
  • digital design, coordination and production
  • AP strategy
  • AP community management
  • event design
  • community management
  • office administration.

The suitable candidate will have a degree in graphic design or similar, proven experience with both print and digital design, and a familiarity with social media platforms for the purposes of marketing. Other qualities and skills we will be seeking include:
